Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for goods and products that promote production and meet the organization's objectives.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers, especially in China.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including supplier selection, purchase orders, production follow-up, shipment, and delivery.
- Analyze procurement spending, market pricing trends, and supplier risk to ensure price competitiveness and achieve cost-saving targets
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors, and follow up orders/contract orders according to purchase requisitions/requests with approved vendors
- Identify opportunities for sustainable and responsible sourcing in line with the company’s ESG commitments.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Purchasing team while improving procurement processes and SOPs.
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement or overseas purchasing, import-export is advantage, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, especially in packaging and personal care products, will be given special consideration.
- Good command of written and spoken English, particularly for dealing with overseas suppliers.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
